Spanglish?!?

if you are hipanic or mexican or even white or asian have you noticed that most of mexicans or hispanics that learned english and have spanish as first language they combine it like if they try to say: to mop the floor they say: mopear or if they try to say: to park (car)they say: parkear.
i mean that really is offensive or i just don't like it because personally i am mexican visiting texas and i hear it so what do you think?

Answer:
I think that once someone makes the USA his or her home they should adopt English as their language and not bastardize their native language or English.
I will blame on the U.S Anglo-Monolingual public educational system.
Indeed! Most Texans speak Spanglish!
Cubans speak Afro-Hispanic dialects!
& Puerto Ricans speak s.p.i.c.
im not mexican or spanish my self...
but im sure mexicans would say the same about english speakers who try to speak spanish lol
its just the accent and language they grew up with
I really do not mind if people who speak English speak with an accent. As long as you are speaking english. It is like someone from the north whining that people from the south sound different. It is like people from the city who speak black slang.
It's a natural occurence to any one that lives on a border between 2 countries.

I have a freind that lives in Italy near the border of Italy and Switzerland and by her accent you would think she was Swiss because so many of the words are mixed between Italian and German.

Don't be offended have an open mind and realize that they live in the middle of 2 diffrent cultures and when that happens cultures mix.

By the way I live in san Diego so i see that a lot here too.
The "Spanish" spoken in Mexico is somewhat different than that spoken in the US. Both are understandable to each other, sometimes barely. East LA Mexicans have a different version of Spanish than that of someone from Oaxaca. Spanglish is very common "transitional" language in So. CA. Si, como no?
ITS CALLED BEING LAZY.

ok i read some peoples post and i dont know maybe im thinking of i different kind of spanglish. when they add english and spanish into their conversations.

spanglish has nothing to do with accents

and i know mexican-american people born and raised here that know english fully and they still use spanglish.
Spanglish is spoken by illegals trying to assimilate into
our Culture, I respect them more then those clowns, who
don't even try. If its offensive to you, how do you think,
Americans feel about, all the illegals , who expect us to learn
Spanish .
the thing is tho is that wyte ppl try to mock spanish by puttin a o after a english word (i.e. computerO, classO, storeO, etc)

so its basically the adoption of they witeman's way of mixing languages
y learn languages in school unless planning to visit there? wen u go to another place (friends house, country, etc.) it is ur responsibility to learn the behaviors and expectations of that place and follow them. this means... learning basic english, spanish, french, etc.
I cant help but to speak Spanglish, I was raised in LA and thats how we speak there.
This is how new languages are born I guess..I think its cool and refreshing..maybe this is going to be the next official language..spanglihs
GREAT!
pendejo...
