Those who have influence with the government are raiding our paid education, benefit programs, and now are trying to raid Social Security as well (with the agreement between Bush and Mexico) to obtain cheap labor at our expense. That our schools are then ruined and wages and lifestyle are undercut is on top of that.
They are essentially 'leveraging' the country's assets, including social service funds, to increase their own profit, while we continue to have to pay for them. Then they are not telling us the impacts of what they are doing and in fact are hoping we don't find out. If this was a corporation, they'd have to send us all kinds of disclosure documents and major changes would need a shareholder (citizen) vote.
It's nasty, in my opinion.
Of course.
But "paving the paths for illegals" is only one small negative that this greed has created.
Oh, yes and yes.
not to sound melodramatic but It hurts to see how this country has been deteriorating in all aspects because of the overflow of illegal immigrants who leave a burned/crashed mark in their path to "Make a better life for themselves and their chilren".
I have to say that the work ethic of the younger generationa have not been the greatest, but I want to laugh when people defend for the illegals saying that they are hard workers. I have heard and witnessed numerous times how the illgals start working very hard then once they get their foot in the door they slack off even worse.
Most of all, the apalling DISRESPECT for law and order I have witnessed from these illegals not only explained why the countries they came from are in such deep doodoo, but also convinced me that if the U.S. government doesn't make any substantial reform in immigration laws and regulations, we could just kiss goodbye this thing we call "AMERICAN DREAM"
Without a doubt! American (PC: U.S. Citizens) greed encompasses the entire spectrum of our society. From our children who demand $200 toys to our CEO's who depart their position with 500 million dollar payouts. Many of our politicians are routinely exposed as bribetakers. Business majors in our colleges admit to cheating and justify it by saying that they are only doing what they will have to do when they enter the real business world. Washington, D.C. is for sale to the highest-bidding lobbyist ( there is more than one Jack Abramoff in our Capitol) which is why the agricultural industry will buy congress once again - thus preserving it's exploitation of cheap, Mexican labor. The U.S. working man is fighting a war on two fronts. One front is the influx of illegal workplace competition. The other front is the dumping of cheap Chinese goods on U.S. shores. Both are causing U.S. workers to lose employment opportunities and erode the future for our children. The greedy are taking their profits now and have no concern for the future of our nation
