Only if you marry him. He can't become legal by simply impregnating a woman. Men do that all the time, legal or not - we'd become overpopulated with them.
Seriously, you can contact the USCIS discreetly through their hotline (their website is uscis.gov) and try explaining the situation, or talk to a lawyer. It's a tough situation.
This man would have to follow the proper process and get a complete background check and apply legally, and if he had any problems he did not tell you, then you can go live with him in Mexico, or here without him,,

If I understand you correctly, a US citizen has a baby in the US and the father is an ILLEGAL Mexican? If this is accurate, the mother and the baby are both citizens.
HOWEVER, the father is an illegal alien criminal and must return to Mexico where he belongs. If he wan s to be in the US LEGALLY, he must start the paperwork IN MEXICO.

Each party must have been legally able to marry, and
The marriage ceremony must be considered legal under the laws where it was performed (there are certain exceptions to this such as in the case of same sex marriages or polygamous marriages)
As for having the baby here, a U.S. citizen son/daughter can only sponsor if they are at least 21 years old.
