Can i get a U.S permanent resident if my father a US citizen, never lived in U.S?
Answer:
No, in your case you are not eligible. Your foreign born, US citizen father, must have lived a minimum of 5 years in the United States in order to pass his citizenship along to his children.
None of the people who answered before me know what they are talking about.
where do u live now?
Yes, you can become a naturalized U.S. Citizen, contact the nearest U.S. Consulate.
I would think that you would be conceder a us citizen as long at your mother is one also then you will be able to come to the us without any problems you just would have to have all the paper work proving it no different then if a child is born in a millitary family over seas the child would still be an american
Yes you can.Since you are over 18 years old you will have to file papers with the closest embassy and wait a few months for your passport
it is going to be tough but you have a shot, talk to embassy or go to www.travel.state.gov, about DS-240, report of birth abroad of u.s. citizen , if not your father may have to file form I-130, found at www.uscis.gov
