Because they are FORCING Spanish everywhere and not learning English. Other immigrants who came to the US learned to speak English! Why can't they????
Because they hurt the US Economy while help their own country's economy. Enough proof has been given on that already!
Because they drive up health care costs for Americans. Who do you think pays for the illegals medical costs? Not them!!
Because they increase crime rates and bring drugs into the US. No explanation needed.
Because they DEMAND to be given amnesty. Other immigrants had to go through the proper channels. Again, why can't they??
Because most don't pay state or federal taxes. They steal social security numbers or get false tax ID numbers! The small amount that they pay for state sales tax does not come close to the amount of taxes that Americans pay.
Because they do not have any respect for American laws, American citizens or the American way of life! Yes they can be proud of being Mexican, but they are constantly criticizing the US, its citizens and it's government.
Because they never try to become US Citizens. They say that the process takes too long or it is soooo expensive. Process may take longer only because there are more people trying to become citizens! Doesn't cost an arm and a leg either!

Besides the crime, gang mentality / tribal allegiances, drug-using, resource-depleting issues? I don't have much bad to say about Mexican people in general, they ARE hard workers, compared to other, er, minority groups, next to the Asians some of the hardest working people I've seen. Sure, I'd like them to come in legally, and not send American money back to Central and South America. If they TRULY wished to become Americans, they should invest in America, not their homelands. That to me is the hardest pill to swallow, they're here for the money, not because they'd love the chance to become an American taxpayer. When the jobs leave, so do they, from what I read. I think American should open up more for Guest workers, not as much for citizenship as yet. Think that's snobbish? The Austrailians are harsher, you have to have a good reason to come in, with a job firmly in hand, before they'll let you emigrate to their country. I think we should slow down the acquisition of human beings, and try to engage other countries these people come from to curb their corruption and open up their society to make it a better place for job creation and businesses.
Nothing, they add culture to our country since they have been here longer the we have. It narrow minded cowards like Bush who try to make this an issue while profiting off the sweat and hard labor they provide for this country. They have a great and long heritage unlike the US which under the COWARD has become a shameful, unforgiving country.

I don't think the dislike is for Mexicans, the key word is ILLEGAL If the person were German, French, or Jewish, etc. The problem is ILLEGAL We are the most welcoming nation on earth, but we have a legal process.
If we opened our borders, an endless flow of Immigrants would flood our Country. And I wouldn't blame them.
