My husband applied 1-130 petition for me so how I apply USA visa?
Answer:
I am in the process of applying for a visa for my wife. The I-130 petition is just the first half of the process. Once the petition is approved, you will be sent a link to a page with information about the next part of the process. Most likely you will qualify as an IV (immigrant visa) as a spouse.
The next part is much more difficult (believe me I'm going through it now). You will have to go to a hospital that is preapproved by the US Embassy in the country you are in and have a physical examination and possibly some immunization shots. In addition, you need to obtain a criminal background check from your local police department saying that you have a clean background. Your husband will have to prove he has a sustained income which will continue in the US. If he is working overseas and will not continue his job in the US, then he will need to do one of two things. A) Get a co-sponsor who will also be responsible for your or B) Go to the US without you and obtain a job offer and then you would make an appointment and go to the embassy. He also needs to have copies of his US tax returns for the last three years.
There are a few other requirements, but the ones I mentioned are the most important (and difficult ones). If you've applied for the I-130 petition, it's best to wait until you hear from the US Embassy.
