I need to apply for an L1 Visa, but I'm clueless on how to go trough the proccess?

I do already work for a company in Mexico, and they're opening this year in the US, they want me to be there, and i think i fill up all the requisites, anyway, I really don't know if I should necessarily get an immigration lawyer, or this is something I can do on my own and succeed.
