We have the same problems here in the UK. Such a scheme (Amnesty) is doomed to failure in the long term.
Both Spain and Italy have granted repeated amnesties over the past 20 years, yet the problem of illegal immigration has grown.In Italy, a 1988 amnesty allowed 119,000 foreigners to settle. When the exercise was repeated in 2002 the figure soared to 700,000. In Spain, figures rose from 44,000 in 1985 to 700,000 two years ago.
An amnesty, even spread over several years, is absolutely bound to increase illegal immigration by people who will be undercutting your wages.if this is something you do not want,make your voices heard. Shout,write mail,anything,keep doing it till someone listens to you!!

Writing my senators are congressman are a waste of time. They are leading lefties and aren't going to change their mind even if receiving a million letters and calls.

Unfortunately my Senator is none other than the Queen of California, Dianne Feinstein.
She has ONE form letter she sends out. It starts with "Thank You for supporting the LEGALIZATION of illegal aliens"
No wonder she claims that 80% of her constituents favor amnesty. Doesn't matter what you say because she is going to claim you are behind her 100%.
With Dianne you know exactly what you have. If her lips are moving you know she is lying.

Honestly i see it as if the americans want the immirgrants out, then they should stop importing products from china that are usuallly made by immirgrants who come to live here to stop making it since they get bad only cents. then they should also stop importing gas because it's not ours. i honeslty think if american wants all the illegal immirgrants out then they should stop buying products out of the united states and start making their own stuff then we will see how many hands will go up to bring them back..
