Okay, I'll admit that I knew nothing about this before your question, so I clicked on the link that you posted and read through the article. As far as I can tell, the article is talking about a transmission that was intercepted that involved the Germans suggesting which side Mexico should take.
However, I don't see anything in there suggesting that Mexico actually had anything to do with this. It looks more like the Germans were ordering Mexico to form an alliance against the US.
I don't know, maybe it's just me. I suppose if I simply decided that I was going to hate people no matter what, I would be able to see the negatives against Mexico in that article. However, since I can keep an open-mind about things, I have the ability to recognize that, even if Mexico did plan to attack the US 90 years ago, who cares? They didn't, did they? Germany and Japan have been openly hostile toward the US in the past, and our relations with them are not strained in the least.

You'll note that they /didn't/ do it, tough. The Nazis were shopping around alliances all over the world. They courted the USA for a time, too, before the war.
No. I read the link,which you have misintrepreted and distorted. The telegram was sent to the German Ambassdor from the German Foriegn Minister, it asks the Ambassador to make proposals to the Mexican President, but the proposals wer not acted upon. Mexico made no plans to invade the US nor did they side with Germany.
"Mexico and Japan immediately denied having anything to do with the proposals (indeed, the Mexican President was content at a recent American withdrawal from his country and Germany could offer little beyond moral support), while Zimmermann admitted the Telegram's authenticity on March 3rd."
