How to get a passport?

Fill out an application at the Post Office.

Or you can go on-line to the Immigration website and download the forms and complete them and take them to the post office.
Go to your post office and get the relevant documentation to fill out, post it to the passport office along with 2 photos a cheque to cover the costs, it will be self explanitory once you have the form unless you are an illegal immigrant or refugee, in that case you will need to go through home office but in the mean time you could apply for a national insurance number which will allow you to work in the uk
You can also go to your county's district clerk's office. They have all the forms and will answer any questions you have.
Go to the post office and get an application. You will have to provide a photo, you can get a cheap one from JC Penney's and probably alot more places. Just ask if they do passport photos.
The whole thing with photo should cost around or less than 100 dollars. It will take 2 or 3 weeks to process. Sign it once you get it, look it over and make sure all the info is correct.
Then you are good to go.
