The only way we can halt the flood of immigration from Mexico is to work with Mexico to fix their economy. All the fences in the world wont work if they are faced with starvation and poverty on the the other side. And just who are we going to get to build the fence?
yes i have, and i am totally for the immigration bill. my husband deserves to be in america as much as any of us do. we took their land from them, so they have every right to be in the U.S. America is just blinded by the media and only hear what they want to hear. i have three kids who a part hispanic. this country needs to open up to the immigrants after all they help our economy out alot.

As you may know, the Senate recently debated S.1348, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007.
In its current form, this bill is unworkable and unfair. I am particularly troubled by its proposal to create a new guestworker program. I have always had problems with guestworker programs because I believe they lead to increased illegal immigration, a downward pressure on American wages, and a loss of workplace protections.
That is why on June 7, 2007, I joined 49 other Senators in rejecting cloture, thereby preventing the bill from proceeding to a final vote. Be assured that I will keep working to fix our broken immigration system in a manner that protects American workers and reduces illegal immigration.

Yes I have and if they weren't listening, I will tell them again. Someone has to stop Bush from flushing citizens from the USA down the toilet , first he sells us to corporations who are moving jobs offshore than he wants to motivate more illegals to come here with Amnesty. Congress better wake up and smell the stink of an economically devastated USA
