Is this not a problem as well?

people are always talking about the illegal immigrants sucking on the economy due to them being on welfare and not paying income tax.

but what about the citizens of the u.s. that are also on welfare. sure, some of them have legitimate reasons to be on it, but is it not true that most on welfare are only on it because that are unwilling to get a job and make their own money?

a check in the mail sure beats working. i believe that's how our citizens on welfare see it.

they also do not pay income tax as they have no income to begin with.

yet, no one complains about them. why not? are they not a drain on society as well? are people only interested in taking action against the immigrants that wrong the country?

i need some replies and answers.

Answer:
Interesting point. Im guessing its because illegal immigrants are more noticeable than a guy sitting at home waiting for the mail.
I am ,for one, getting pretty tired of your pro illegal stance! move on to a new catagory
someone posted an answer to your question in another post that you had answered with this same statement. i think you should read it. if you had read it then you wouldn't of had to waste ten points posting this question.
This is why we dont need illegal aliens!~ we have our own people to deal with, we could change our welfare system into a job placement system, and make Americans do those jobs- two birds!...one stone!~~
SIMPLE.

US citizens have a LEGAL RIGHT to be here and CANNOT legally be deported!

illegal aliens have no LEGAL RIGHT to be here and CAN be LEGALLY be DEPORTED.

comprende?
Who says no one "complains" about lazy people that don't want to work...apples and oranges...one has nothing to do with the other. They are both issues that need to be dealt with, but don't try to justify one because the other exists.

America has many issues to deal with, as does any large country. We cannot dismiss or ignore any of them.

A common tactic of pro-illegals is to point the finger elsewhere to try to justify illegal aliens' existence in this country.

They don't BELONG here in the first place. They are not citizens or legal immigrants, don't try to compare them to citizens or legal immigrants.
you have a point there every one keeps talking about "the evil illegals sucking up on welfare"
but nobody talks about the crackheads and trailer trash that are doing the exact same thing
i dont belive we have as much of a problem with immigrants on welfare as we do U.S citizens most of the immigrants i know have come here to work for a better way of life. people here have forgot what its like to WORK for a living and take advantage of and abuse the goverment programs that are ment to help those who cant help themselves. so any able body person immigrant or citizen who use welfare as an escape from work are equaly a drain on the economy.
"but what about the citizens of the u.s. that are also on welfare"

Those *citizens* are just that...*citizens* and are entitled to all services in our system including welfare, I am not saying all deserve it, many should be working for their money but they are citizens and therefore entitled, end of story. Illegal immigrants are not citizens and should not be using any tax payer funded service. As much as we would sometimes like to dump the dead weight from America we cannot but we do NOT have to accept dead weight from other countries either.
welfare people are a drain on economy as well, and nobody appreciates them, but they were born here so we cant kick them out, the immigrants have there own country but they sneek over here to drain on us.

i know alot of immigrants work really hard for next to nothing, but why cant they do that in there own country. when they work really cheap, that brings the industries down because why would someone hire an american for a job an immigrant would do for cheaper. that takes the livelihood away from americans, and thats why we dont tolerate immigrants much.
The citizens that are on welfare are entitled, if they qualify.. They are citizens. ILLEGALS ARE NOT CITIZENS, AND ARE NOT ENTITLED TO OUR SOCIAL, WELFARE PROGRAMS.
Welfare, just like Social Security, was set up so that US Citizens wouldn't go without. Our laws have changed so that people don't sit at home and wait for a check anymore. They have to take classes, and show that they are looking for employment, this aid has also been made temporary. You can't live off of your child for 18 years anymore. I am against illegal immigrants because 1) they aren't citizens so therefore shouldn't be enjoying any benefits. 2) they come here to have their children for free (yes, an illegal can hop over the border seven months pregnant, never paid a dime to the economy, apply for health care and have her kid here for free. 3) The child that they just gave birth to in the US (illegally) is now eligible for WIC, and welfare, and free school lunch, and so on. 4) Their children put our citizen children behind in class. And the list goes on and on.
I agree that American Citizens on welfare are blood suckers and it is something to be ashamed of. Americans are taking care of them.

However, they are not LEAVING America to go suck the blood from a foreign country's tax paying Citizens. They are America's Problem, born and bred here. Illegals are simply not desirable. They are unwelcome because they compare themselves with American poor people but they are Mexican poor people. They are Mexico's UNWANTED problem.

Yes, that's a problem as well, and some people do complain about it. But it's a separate issue. We can't send it by sending them back to their home country if this is their home country.
yes but they have the right to be lazy.cause their "American"

they need to get rid of welfare in general then people wouldn't be "stealing their jobs"
