Can Americans afford to have pride any more since food , shelter and everything is so expensive so do you?
Answer:
Americans do have pride, and there is help if you need food and shelter, but you have to get up and go get it, they want bring it to you. Americans help provide our own citizens , who are millions and millions with food and shelter, and this does not even include others that are not Citizens that we help. So, yes I have pride, American PRIDE and proud.
so far there is plenty to go around. i've noticed no significant leap in prices of food or any other utility.

We have pride is so many things including our ability to make do and find new solutions to new problems as they arise
Yes, Americans can afford to have pride. It all comes down to values in this country. For some reason, starting in the 80's, we became a nation of haves and have nots. Instead of keeping with what made this nation great, we decided that excessive living and outrageous spending were the way to go. That generation passed this idea along to our children and financial institutions began to make that lifestyle more available by providing easier mean to obtain credit.
If Americans would get back to showing the rest of the world that we want to work and that we can still provide the best products instead of trying to provide cheap, low quality, unreliable, quick fix products, then we can start to make head way in our trade deficits and start to manufacture our own goods once again. We can bring back the farmlands to provide our own foods, instead of looking to other countries who provide us with questionable processed foods.
IN CALIFORNIA everything is expensive. i lost my appartment which was $1380.00 a month because i couldnt work for medical reasons. so now me and my hubby live with his parents and it is a bit humbling i might add. food is expensive, rent is expensive, houses are expensive. day care is expensive, medical insurance is expensive. damn i dont even know how we'd survive with out help from our parents from time to time!
thank god my hubby is getting a good education because that is the only thing that is gonna get us out of the hole we are in right now.
education is the key to a better life.
Inflation has been pretty low for 20 years. Things aren't that expensive. The standard of living in America is very high compared to other countries.
Eventually the medical industry which has gotten good at curing and treating disease and keeping people alive, will suck up all the middle class wealth and there will be two classes, one rich and one with basically not much but the clothes on their back and a shelter. But I am prepared to enjoy even that, because I am a Forgive Affirmed Spirit. Homeless shelters may be the last stand.
Indians afford everything, what Americans afford.
