What do you think about immigrants getting a free pass if they enlist?

this is not a little known section as when I first joined the Marine corps in 1952 there were several immigrants from Germany, Cuba Poland, Mexico and other country's who were in the military so they could become permanent citizens, and many were damned good marines, we had one Cuban who was left in the trenches when we were overrun by the north Koreans he killed almost 36 No,, Koreans with a knife , he was shot 3 times and bayoneted but he survived, I think he was damned good what do you think? I do admit we have been taken advantage of many times by Illegal immigration and them getting on welfare etc, but some have sure been a blessing,

not a mistake at all. it proves their loyalty to the country and willingness to die for it.
even though i think they would never fight for our country willingly,you can't force people.
Whats wrong with that, the US needs more soldiers and the immigrants need a passport, one helping another!
Sorry, I really don't feel confident having a cheater defend me.They should go home and join their own military.
