Do you think the immigration bill will pass?
Answer:
Which still means amnesty! They know they will loss votes from the legal Americans but just think about the 12,000,000++++++++++ votes they will get from the people they make legal. I hate the bill and wish that Bush would stop with the whole thing, but he know he will be out of office soon and he don't care about all the Americans who are losing they're jobs so some illegal can work in they're place for less money. I can't fine a job in Georgia where I live, that pays more tha 5.15 to 6.00 dollars. The Hispanic are the ones that you have in the offices doing the hiring. So needless to say if your not Hispanic you are not getting those job. I say keep the heat on our government official. And keep on saying no to amnesty. But with Bush in office he has made up his mind he is going to get his way. I just can't get over how little he cares about what the American people want.
they probably modified it to fit more people's interests. it has a higher chance of passing now than before, i'll tell you that.
I think it will pass. I think that it will be tweaked enough that both sides will be ok with it passing.
If might pass the senate, but hopefully it will not pass the house
I have no confidence in our Government, I dont know!
We'll see a big effort to get it through the senate coupled with a PR campaign about how good immigrants are for the US economy, etc. If they can get any version of it through the House, they'll re-write it in conference committee to make it as toxic and as pro-illegal as possible.
I doubt if the bill will ever pass because we are all immigrates the true peoples land the American Indian. we are all immigrates to this land
If it does pass then we will just have another great example to show that "they" don't listen to the American citizens.
.
I think Some form will pass the weak senate, lets hope the house has the ba!!s to enforce our laws.
yes.
The real reason that the immigration bill is such a "hot topic" is because several federal courts have made rulings in the last few years that state that having anything to do with illegals for the "sake of profit" are racketeering offenses. To give a ride to work to an illegal is three felonies that mandate thirty years in the federal prison system, which has no parole. One Hispanic in Florida was transporting 9 to work and was caught and received 270 years. He naturally appealed to the 11th Circuit and "challenged" the constitutionality of law. The 11th Circuit that the law was constitutional and that the sections of the law so challenged mandated the ten years per count and since he had 27 counts (i.e. three per person) his sentence was appropriate and correct. The same is true if you give shelter or aid or abet and illegal alien.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2002 that a person is not allowed to work for one second if illegally in this country. see Hoffman Plastics v. National Labor Relations Board.
Several federal appeals courts have stated that hiring illegals is a "predicate" act under the racketeering code.
Thus the real reason behind the push for "amnesty" is help keep some upper contributors out of federal prison for racketeering.

It will pass in the senate, it will pass in the house, it will be signed by the president and it will become law. YAY.
I don't know,I think certain people will stand firm. Only time will tell on this one.
I really hope that it doesn't pass. Hopefully, the leaders who voted against this bill saw that we the American people do not stand for such an 'illegal bill'.
Now, if this does pass, then what our leaders are doing is breaking all laws by letting thousands and thousands of illegals stay in our country, that includes the criminals that are living in our jails and prisons.
I will be outraged if this happens in America and I am sure many of you too. If it doesn't pass, even now, they should secure ALL borders. Especially the way it is going in Israel with Hamas taking over Gaza and the threats that they have made at Christians and Jews from around the world. We cannot let these animals like Hamas into our country. From what I heard, Islamo-fascists are already here in America. Don't you think that our borders should be closed?? I mean shouldn't we take threats coming from the Iranian president and these radical groups seriously??
It may pass in the Senate, but word is no way will the current bill pass in the house.
