If you have a Green Card, what types of offenses can cause the government to deport you?

Answer:
Breaking the law
technically... any crime at all can void the visa.

In practical terms... they don't tend to void green cards for anything less than a felony.
Aggravated felonies and crimes of moral turpitude are grounds for deportation of a Green Card holder.
