I didn't cross the border, but I'm sure somebody in my past family came over. That is how America was founded. After it was founded we created immigration for a reason. Now it's up to Americans to protect what we founded.
Which one? I believe I crossed Belize's when my flight made a connection why?
My great great great great grandfather came to this country with his wife and young son form England in the early 1800's. I was born here.
The first time I climbed over a fence and then the second time I got someone to smuggle me in his truck.

All settlement in History involved someone taking land from someone else. We all need to quit laying blame, calling names and look at history.
This is a natural progression and human migration.
History shows there can only be two outcomes, either the invaders will take part or all of our country or we will drive them out. That is what happens when one people need what another people have. It's simple really.
Unfortunately for us, history doesn't show too good of a track record for the people who sit back and wait for things to work out, they generally lose.
In a 727 over the Pacific (Oct.5 1979.) I'm legal.
I didn't.
These were 2 direct quotes from illegals interviewed for the paper for my Master's Program:

"Walked from Mexico to Arizona through the desert, twice, first we got lost and I got separated from the group, I found 2 other kids from my group, they were brothers, one was 13 and the other was 17. We walked for a day and slept outside, we didn't have any water or supplies because you are not allowed to take them with you because they get confiscated anyway by the US Border Patrol. Then the second day the younger boy couldn't walk anymore so we sat and waited in the desert for the Border Patrol to come get us. They sent us back to Mexico on the border and we found our coyote and tried again. This time we made it. We waited a day in Arizona and then we took a bus to California. In California a girl met us and bought us plane tickets to New York. We were told not to talk and were given a change of clothes. We boarded the plane and landed in NYC." - Mexican Male Age 25

"My husband had come before us to the US to find work. Once he was settled he sent for us. I came with my 2 children they were 2 and 6. We flew to Mexico from my country and then hired a coyote to help us cross the border. I was the only one with children. We tried 3 times to cross but each time it was too hard for my kids so we would turn back. After that the coyote knew a man who could drive my children across but I would have to walk and meet them on the other side. I was scared but we had paid alot of money in order to come here and I had no money to return home so I let my children go with him. I walked 3 days in the desert and when we got to the house in the US I wanted to see my children. But the coyote said we had to wait until it was safer. I waited for 2 more days, we had heard that some people had been caught so I was very worried about my children. Finally the coyote's friend arrived on the 3rd day. My children were fine, they had been fed and they were clean. I cried for a long time when I saw them. After that we traveled by bus the rest of the way." - Ecuadorian Female Age 32
