I have my work permit to work for my company over Sea's. I am going to be going to L.A for an appointment to get my Work Visa for the UK. Is there any reason why i should worry about being denied? What are reasons why I would be denied even with a work permit?

As long as you document your company's financial, need to perform work in UK (contract, email exchange), your position with the company (past year W2, current pay stub, etc.), your education and experience certificates, financial support for you while in UK, it should not be problem at all.
Just document all aspects of visit and stay there.
You need to find a company willing to sponser you. Usually the company you work for will.
