Should Home Depot be required to build on site facilities for guest workers?

Several city governments have required Home Depot inc. to build or promise to build facilities to accomodate workers,including restrooms,security staff,and educational outreach programs or risk being denied permits to operate.In Mountainview,Georgia local lawmakers are considering a proposal to require Home Depot to pay $250,000 toward a permanent day labor center and an educational outreach center before building a store there.

it is plain extortion on the part of the local govt. if these are so called sanctuary cities, then all americans should boycott any vacation travel to them.

well that's fine if you want to keep illegals in this country... but, personally, i don't... neither do 80% of Americans. but, if they're just trying to make a point to people like Home Depot and Walmart and hit their purses.. local and state govts can't exactly fine businesses for hiring illegals.. that's a federal thing.. so, i'm all for it... but as far as it being a solution to help integrate illegals more smoothly into our society.. i think it's bs.
Why should Home Depot be responsible for this? If anything The Government should be responsible to put an immigration officer outside of Home Depot this would clear the problem up!
