Yes, it's a combination of third world mentalities coming to this country that don't know any better and America accomidating those who don't assimilate. It's not necessarily their fault they have a third world mentality but that doesn't mean America shouldn't protect Americans and do everything in it's power to stop third world mentality. Having a third world mentality isn't a disease but it spreads like one.
America welcomed people from all over the world for centuries. Lots of them were not slum at all. (Look at Max Factor, for instance).
