Would I be given a green-card if I buy land in the US?
Thanks!
Answer:
Not by itself. If you turned it into a business that employed a certain number of people and invested a minimum amount of money, you would qualify. Speak to a reputable immigration attorney.
LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT...YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO POOR...AH, POOR ILLEGAL ALIEN...SO POOR THAT YOU CAN BUY A RANCH IN MY COUNTRY.
no u still have to apply for the green-card. Im assuming u have an resident alien card, so ur next step would be to apply for a green-card if i remember correctly u have to have had ur resident alien card for at least 5 years before becoming eligible for green card
No, that's not how you become a legal citizen
No, property ownership does not entitle you to a Green Card.
No, land owership is not enough for citizenship.
No, there are a few ways you can go about getting a green card. You can apply for a student visa, go to college, or grad school in US, then find a job that's willing to sponser your H1 B. You can search for a job in US that's willing to bring you over on a work visa and then sponser you for a green card. If you have a brother or sister, mom, or dad who is a green card holder, or citizen they can sponser you to come over. Or you can marry a US citizen. Those are pretty much your options.
In order for you to buy a piece of land you have to have at least a Green Card.
I am a legal permanent resident (10-years Green card) from Russia. Two years ago I bought my first house. However, when I was in the USA as a student with a student visa only, I could not buy anything.
You can try to dump whole bunch of money to buy a ranch in the USA, but it will not automatically grant you permission to enter the country and especially give you a green card.
Make sure for your own sake that you are legal here first.
In order to buy land all you need is MONEY.There are loans for people that have no verifiable income.Only if the ranch is a working ranch would you have the ability to get a Permanent resident card.
