I'll give you something better than that, berge70. I actually *LIVED* in Mexico for 5 years before I came back home, and I can tell you that every last one of those laws are TRUE.
This is exactly why people are complaining about illegal immigration - Mexicans are holding our country to standards that they won't even hold themselves to. If your own home country won't give foreigners certain "rights" then you have no business telling us to give you those same "rights". Fix your own mess first.

Most people who have been around here for a while know this, but thank you for re posting it for those who don't. A country with immigration laws like that has no business criticizing our laws, or the enforcement of them. They don't apologize for enforcing theirs. And if they don't welcome illegal immigrants then they should stop sending them to us. There is NO excuse for it.

Now that is truly an eye opener!! But here is my issue with that. We already know their country's laws and society sucks, but why should we hold that against them? Do you think that other countries should feel that it is okay to kill our families while we are on vacation in Europe simply because our country does just that in Iraq and Afghanistan? We would not expect to be held to standards simply because our home country's government is stubborn, would we? Those people are trying to flee a country that offers them a bleak future, the same as our ancestor's did. Although our country's ancestors did not have immigration laws as a hurdle. I think that our laws absolutely need to be reformed. No one deserves a free ride, but no one deserves malicious prosecution for wanting a better life....
If that is the laws Mexico is happy with, we should apply them here in the U.S. and they would have no problem with our laws. The key is to enforce them!
