If you had middle ground with immigration?
if we gave these people temp visas and went through with that bill...and since they'd be making so much money more (since the peso isn't even worth a dime to our dollar)..wouldn't that be literally funding and enhancing THEIR economy..??
and isn't it mexico that has bought out a lot of american jobs?

Those monies they make go to the Mexican economy.it only benefits them...here in the US however, those monies are not being spent here to help our economy.so in essense, we are funding the Mexican economy...in fact, Those remittances sent back to Mexico are the second leading source of income to the country of Mexico...
because America's big Businesses would not be profitable if they had to pay more

Yeah, our companies want cheap labor. If they can't hire illegal immigrants, then they will outsource their production to Mexico. Take your pick.
I agree with you 100%! Alot of my friends have lost their jobs because their companies decided to move to Mexico. I am soooo sick of these people. If I were the person in charge of immigration, there wouldn't be anyone coming into our country, who lived elsewhere. If they want to live here full time, learn the English language, and help make the US a better place to live, then I am for whomever wants to live here. because our ancestors did just that. they came here for a better life, stayed and made an impact on this country. The mexicans and other foreigners who only come here to work and send their money home are such a burden. these are the ppl who need to be sent away. Get out! Go Home! I tell them everytime I see them in their van loads buying out walmart. Leave some stuff for us to buy. I am very annoyed on this subject, I could go on and on...that is my opinion and i can say whatever the hell i want.thanks to the 1st amendment! if ppl get offended then i have made my point.
There is lots of money that is being spent here thanks to the Illegal Immigrants. They buy clothes, food, houses, cars, gasoline, electricity etc etc.. It is true that they send money back to their families, but it is also true that our employers pay them next to nothing so it makes up for that. Also, you cannot blame people for looking for work. If we as Americans stopped hiring Illegal Immigrants then they would stop coming. But we gladly hire them for the cheap labor. And I would bet that alot of you "dissenters" don't realize the full impact of the illegal population and how much they have helped the economy over the past twenty years.
We need to look past the racial prejudice and find out how illegal work is actually impacting our economy, both negatively and positively. This issue is not black and white!
America's economy needs a source of cheap labor that would allow them to compete on the world market, that is the reality that Americans that addressed if they paid Americans more we would do the work.. That is the logic behind the North American union crap. If they get that they would have solved the cheap labor source. Bush is not pro Mexican ,He is pro business and wants to guarantee that US business's have that source of cheap labor.. Why do you think so many US firms have relocated to Mexico, the US labor force has priced themselves out of the market that US business's are willing to pay.
