Should we encourage poor Africans to come to America ?

didn't "we" try this once before? As I recall, the africans didn't like it so much.

for that, they don't have to come to america, the most of them go to germany and live from the support of the goverment. they don't even have to work!!

Sure, why not- let our people starve and be unemployed while we worry about someone who won't travel 100 miles to work legally in their own country but will risk life and limb to travel 500 miles across a border illegally to work here.

It's a difficult question to ask. I think that all of the nations who can provide educational assistance should. These African people who are starving should be given the knowledge to irrigate their land, take care of thier sick, and I think we as humans should want to help others. I am not saying that they should emmigrate to the US, specifically, but I think that in order for them to take care of themselves, they need to know how to first...
it's not for Americans to decide that is based on a humanitarian level with the Geneva convention, and it's great that the US had taken a great role in supporting those less privileged in the world. Strong supporters are many of the EU countries, Canada, even some economically stable countries like South Africa.
