If we don't have an immigration reform then how do we solve illegal immigration?

I am a Mexican-American and I strongly agree that those who choose to live in the US should come with some kind of contribution to the country. Coming with their families illegaly does not do that. I believe that if they do want to stay in the great US of A they should at least make an effort to become a citizen. By doing so, they would at least pay taxes, and learn the language. It really irritates me when I go places and have to speak Spanish because the person I'm trying to communicate with doesn't understand what I'm saying. I feel that if people want to be apart of this country they should not leave their culture but instead embrace our customs by at least learning the most common language, English. As far as solving illegal immigration... I feel that what the government is doing as far as trying to protect our borders is the right way to go. I really hope this law passes, although I think that it might be a little too late. Just as many have said, "You can't deport them all."

We don't need a bunch of new laws, that won't be enforced. We must enforce the current laws (e.g., jail employers for hiring illegals, employers can't hire illegals, deportation/jail for illegals, BUILD THE FENCE, border security!)
We should throw the weasels out of Congress that don't listen to us. We also should never vote for a pro-amnesty candidate!!
Well they could start by enforcing immigration laws. There does need to be reform for certain things. but they need to be logical acceptable reforms.

You are right .Those "current law" advocates well know that what we have is definitely not working.They are demagogues who only want to prolong the problem.Some for political reasons,others for racial prejudice but most because of a serious deficiency of gray matter in their brains.
How about using the laws that we already HAVE and ENFORCING them. That means REAL penalties against employers who are breaking the laws currently...and it means DEPORTING all illegals back to their country of origin. Including your husband which you said was an illegal alien.

enforcing the laws that we already have. crack down on the people who are giving these illegals the documents that they need in order to get jobs, welfare, and other services that should only be for americans. build up a better fence that they can't dig under or cut through that only makes it easier to get here. employ more agents to work the borders. and hold the companies accountable for employing illegals after all they give u the paperwork that everyone fills out when they get a job to check with the D.O.J if its a legal # right? maybe Im wrong.

Once the laws we have are enforced, people will begin to realize that some of them may need to be changed.
Set up a lot of .50 caliber machine guns on the boarder with night vision and wait for the illegals. They are the only ones we have the problems with.
