Would illegal immigration still be a problem if.?

1 - Employers where penalized for hiring illegal aliens
2 - landlords where penalized for housing illegal aliens
3 - Schools where not allowed to enroll illegal aliens
4 - Free medical treatment was refused to illegal immigrants unless it was life threatening, then they would be deported after being humanely treated.
Who needs a wall when there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? And why is our government not really interested in enforcing our laws and truly fixing this problem?

Answer:
These are but a few of the first steps we should take to stop illegal immigration. Stop making life nice and easy to live as an illegal, and it would end. The actions of our government have done nothing but empower them, make it impossible to get a job as an illegal and impossible to do day to day business as an illegal and they will have no choice but to leave.

That is a bad idea because then you would have a lot more homeless people. We would not leave though.
I think that remedy much of the problem.
