In hawaii. workers permit?

im 14 will be 15 next week. my friend works at zippys and they hire at age 14, but i need to get my workers permit. how do i get that? my gramma said go downtown..and im like.okay...and what?. so yeah, i need to get my workers permit kuz im not 16. HELP! i need to work, long story.

Answer:
You need parents permission and the permit. You will only be allowed to work very few hours that don't interfere with school times etc. Contact the labor board to find out the exact steps.
