it depends. where you born in britain or somewhere else? if you were born in britain, then yes. if you were born somewhere else, then its up to you want you want.
Were you born in Great Britain or in the United States, or where were you born? If you were born in the U.S., then you are an American citizen, and not subject to ANYTHING from Great Britain or a royal subject, etc.

If you were born in Britain I would say you would be a British Citizen.
In previous times people born in the British commonwealth were called British Subjects, if you were born after the British Nationality Act of 1981 became law you would be known as a Commonwealth citizen.
You could still be a British subject if you live in a non commonwealth country.
