i think if they integrated more, and stopped using colour or race as a weapon anytime a situation arises, my wife works in a pub and shes had people saying shes asking them to leave because of their colour, despite the fact they cant stand etc. and there are many more examples of this,

not ALL are bad but some are like everybody else. The point is, is that we let the bad ones in and give them benefits.
Most racism is ignorance like this David guy above who mentioned "blowing up"., as it was Pakistanis and Somalians who done this in London NOT Indians!
I believe our generation of white English people could learn a thing or two from the 2nd generation of Indians. Their hard work and respectfulness even though being brought up here.
But NOT all immigrants are like that and they should not all be branded the same. Muslims have the highest level of unemployment of ANY faith group and claim the highest level of ill health . i.e. they are the largest community draining benefits in the UK.
The fact that they are racist means that nothing can be done to make them see that immigrants aren't all bad.
Racists are, by definition, ignorant or intolerant and so will most likely be stubborn and pig headed too.
But remember that not all people against the amount of immigrants coming in are racist, but some are genuinely worried about too many people being too much for the system. Like the NHS and the Benefits Agencies (I am NOT implying that all immigrants are on benefits), too many people in the UK will stretch these resources, eventually beyond their means.
It would probably never happen if everyone in the UK that could work did work, but a lot of people are too lazy and then moan when foreigners start getting jobs.
Please don't be ashamed of your heritage and being who you are because of a very vocal minority.

I see some indians peeing on the floor, eating out of their hands, dropping food / litter instead of using the bin and sharing about 10 to a house that WE have paid for. Its fine to do that but in thier own country, if you love their culture so much go and live there.
Britains do not behave like that and i dont see why we should have their disgusting, dirty manners forced upon us.

its the illegal immigrants that get my goat !! they come here commit crime and sometimes escape the justice system because they are illegal ! some illegals i do feel for especially the young girls who are brought in to this country for prostitution and end up being raped or even murdered i cant help but feel bad for those !! but the rest who get everything free when there are old British citizens who fought in our wars and helped our country cant afforded to pay there gas bills or even eat as there pensions are crap !!

Here is the problem, India/Pakistan are disaster areas, the Muslim world is another with people being killed in "Honour killings" by nutcase throwbacks of this "amazing" culture. Islam is 1.4 billion people who already have vast areas of the earth, the problem is there is nowhere in Islam they want to live which is a tribute to their ability do make an “amazing culture”

You have to blame the Blair government. They have allowed it to escalate to a level that makes it no longer manageable. I have spoken to people who accept that we must take in people who are in danger in their own country. What a lot of people will not accept are 1000's here for the ride and our money. There are good and bad in every race and country. We have allowed a lot of the bad ones in and it shows in some towns and cities. We have to stop now and work with the immigrants who should be here and remove the ones who should not. Then we may find a balance to keep us all happy.
Their not all bad, but when we go to other countries we try to integrate and respect their culture except in Spain where we made a mini England. Having said that England is in danger of losing it's heritage and everything i say or do is analysed for any racist undertones. Don't mind some, but don't want to be overrun. They should be properly vetted, if they don't work they should go back and they should assist the authorites more on problems in their communities not just get on a soap box and cry racism at evrything.

If you hate yourself for being white, then you must hate your parents ... you hate your grand-parents ... you hate your great-grandparents ... you hate your great-great-grant parents. Why don't you go to live in Africa and work to make it a better place if you hate yourself and those people in your family line?
Sure, you probably know some of these foreigners and they're not all bad. They're not frothing at the mouth or anything and seem like decent people. You're seeing the good side of this. Plus, you're being propagandized by the media. They dish out warm, fuzzy, feel good stories to make you sympathentic to these foreigners.
But the fact remains toxicsgrl ... these people are flooding into your country and having far many more babies than the average UK citizen is. What does this mean? Do the math and you'll discover not to long from now they'll be about 30% of your population and then 40% and then they'll eventually tip the 51% mark. So what does this mean?
You have no control over what the vast majority of these people think and do. And you have no control over their children either. These people over time will own large swaths of your homeland and eventually your country. Yet -- their homelands will be perfectly intact. This means their homelands will own part of your country. Do you get this?
Do you understand that the homeland your grand-parents fought to protect from the Nazis is being given away?
And for what? So people from foreign lands can abandon their communities and come to your country to make some quick money? Why should people come to your country and in time own swaths of it when they have their own country that they should be developing?
The people in the UK who are upset about this are starting to see the writing on the wall. Americans are currently losing their homeland. We're not talking about a few hundred people here and there coming into the US and the UK, we're talking in terms of high hundreds of thousands and yes, millions of people. Who already have a high fertility rate, meaning they produce lots and lots of kids.
Forcing multiple race groups of people into one geo-graphical location to compete for limited resources always results in warfare.
It comes down to this:
---Are you in favor of these people staying in their countries and working to make their homelands a better place to live (just like your ancestors had to)?
---Or are you in favor of these people coming to your country and abandoning their homelands, their communities, just so they can own a big screen TV? Naturally not all the people of their homelands can come into the UK, so why should some people get the lazy way out? Are these people so inept, that they can't do what your ancestors had to do to turn the UK into the military and economic power it is today? Remember, your ancestors had to struggle with plagues, disease, horrid weather, constant warfare, lack of information and knowledge, everything had to be learned by trial and error, etc.
So why can't these foreigners stay in their homeland and follow the UK's example? The information is there. The model for success is there. But no, they want to abandon their families instead just so they can come to your country, own TV's, stereos, and other material goods. And in the process eventually take your homeland from you.
I am racist and I don't think all immigrants are bad.
We all have to make choices and I have made mine.
What I do resent though is people who have chosen to make a living out of politics telling me how to think.
Clearly it would take nothing less than a brain transplant, or a bit of sensitive intelligence.
Many racists are afraid of being shown up for their inefficiencies, they grow up thinking it is the done thing to look down on people who are different.
