now tell me, are you going to reward this individual? besides,Congress should be aware of the fact that among those 12 million of illegals there are also criminals like this drunk driver. Mexicans don't want to be Americans at all. they just come here for the dollar,but they don't care about America and its customs because they're too chauvinist. those illegals are the worst part of the Mexican society with no education,criminal records,etc,etc.

Hopefully it goes down the toilet like the piece of crap that it is. Enforce the laws we already have and our illegal immigration problem will no longer exists. Then let these illegals go back to their own country and if they really want to be here let them apply like the rest of us who came to this country legally .. waited our turn, filled out the forms, paid the fees etc etc etc. Why would we want to give preference to criminals .. Have we gone insane?

We have the government we deserve. Last election, we re-elected many of the same people who have been failing us on this issue for years, and in some cases, for several decades.
Set a one term limit on Congress and they won't be concerned with special interest money for their next campaign. Maybe they'd pay attention to what their constituants want. Just maybe.

Do not give Amnesty or citizenship to anyone here illegally. We should enforce the border, employer hiring, expand deportation, and LET AS MANY LEGAL IMMIGRANTS AS WE NEED IN THE FRONT DOOR, from a multitude of countries - not just Latin America.

Illegal immigration is not a victim less crime.
We have immigrants unable to obtain basic services. Increased poverty. Overcrowded homes. Strained schools. Additional infrastructure needs (roads, firehouses, schools).
We're unfair to legal immigrants waiting. Unfair to companies that abide by the law and hire legal workers. Unfair to the children of illegals who may be deported. Taxes aren't collected.
It's one mess, getting bigger.
Or we can let everyone who wants to come over into the country - no border, no control. That's the other solution.
So either everyone comes over - and I'd say 50-200 million would take the offer. Or we manage it properly so everyone benefits. There is no in between. We are in the in between right now.

Then, we have a system that allows people to come into this country - legally. If American's need these workers, then it must be done through legal and controlled means.
