Can I be denied a passport because of not filing a tax return for two years?

I noticed on the US passport application that I must list my social security number due to the federal tax law. Can I be denied a passport because I have not yet filed a return for years 2004 and 2005 or because I owe back taxes?

Answer:
You WILL be denied a passport for not filing and paying income taxes. You'll be denied for not paying child support too.

Good luck, I hope this helps.
Yep. There's quite a list of things that will get your passport application denied. Being more than $5000 behind in your child support will do it, so I'll assume owing back taxes will do the trick, too.
