Answer:
The Federal government will help them out so don't worry. This means you'll probally be putting the bill for that with all the taxes you pay. Life is wonderful isn't it!

Most of the Iraqi refugees we allow into our country are Doctors, Professors or other people with educations that can make a living on their own.

immigrants of all kinds usually do the jobs that you guys don't want to do anyhow so it won't have much affect on the americans who need jobs... they are usually exploited, willing to work longer hours for less money and live in appalling conditions because to them it is worth it if they can help support their families at home...
and maybe you need to sit back and look at WHY there are so many iraqi refiugees at the moment and what your (and my) country has done to make the situation a hell of a lot worse!
We do. Through social programs. But 7,000 refugees pales in comparison to the 11 million illegal immigrants we have in the country. They cost the taxes payers billions, and billions of dollars every year on education, health care, welfare, our prison systems.
If I were you, I would be more concerned about the illegals that sneak across our boarders, as opposed to the Iraqis that are immigrating here legally.
You do realize that the "Iraqis" who are coming here are the ones who have MONEY and are well off to begin with? That the only way they would be able to make it here is by having these things. I highly doubt that you would have to worry about these people taking jobs from the USA people.

we pay for them and every other immigrant to come to this country why work when the American People will support them..but yet when i needed help i was told sorry no can do...explain that one to me..
We pay their bills and support them as we do all refugees.We give them 5 years to become acclimated and support them the entire 5 years.If by chance they acclimate before the 5 years and get jobs they don't have to pay income tax.If they are older and age eligible for Social Security they receive that instead of welfare.
The same people who pay for all the medical care our crippled vets receive when returning from war- American tax payers..
