Would a dismissed misdemeanor (Class) preclude an applicant from becoming a U.S. Citizen?

Would an applicant to become a US citizen through N-400 face deportation proceedings or denial if charged with shoplifting (Class 1 misdemeanor) and it was later dismissed through a Plea Agreement). Any feedback is appreciated, many thanks!

Answer:
Probably not, but it should.
If someone is not going to respect and obey our laws, we don't need or want them here.
Not necessarily, but you must declare it in the application.
