Does anyone know about the way to get a foreign pet into the United States?

I've got a cat back in Haiti. It's name is Léa. She misses me and my sister so much, she wants to be with us. She had gone missing when I moved to the US. She's come bac k since a month (I"ve moved about a year ago). It's so terrible that she's come back, and she's stayed in my room during days, waiting for me to return.
Does anyone know if all the airport agents would ever let me import my beloved pet to the US?
I'm counting on you, geniuses of mytend.com!
Thank you!!!!!

Answer:
Check with US Customs. I think you'll be able to bring Kitty in, but there will be a quarantine period which I believe is between 30-90 days. Also you'll need a Vet to sign off that Kitty is 100% healthy before it leaves Haiti.

Good luck. :)
It should be fairly easy to get the kitty to Mexico. From there you can smuggle it to Texas.
when my sister moved to Germany her cats had to stay in quarantine for a month to make sure they didn't have rabies and they had to have a clean bill of health from the vet and all their vaccinations she will have to do this again when she comes home next year you may have to go back to Haiti to do this Good Luck
Your cat would be totally stoked to get to be with you in America.
