It makes no sense and it's quite frustrating.The system is set up so only people who have enough money can apply but the "Coyotes" are NOW charging 7,000usd plus 5% interest.It's actually cheaper to pay uscis when you think about it.

Yes, but you also have to look at this practically. In theory it would be nice to deport all 12 or more million illegals back, but it an extremely difficult and expensive undertaking. Considering our current situation I am content with just getting rid of those who have committed other crimes while in the US currently why are our prisons housing illegals they should be on the first plane back to their home country. The border is like an open wound you need to stop the bleeding first then deal with the infection afterwards.

That is an interesting situation. There is a double standard and double talk in the government. The US government is building a wall in the southern border, but on the other hand, is building a highway to cross borders. It makes legal immigration a big bureaucratic nightmare, while it turns its blind eye on illegal immigration. The truth is that a lot of small businesses are depending on cheap labor from illegal immigrants, because the labor unions make the same quality labor so much more expensive. If the government wants to kick out all the illegal aliens, there will have to be a change in a lot of different legislations.
Why are illegal aliens attracted to America?
1. Because there is a demand for cheap labor.
2. Because the legal labor in the US is way too expensive for most small business to stay in business.
3. Because there is free education and free health-care.
4. Because when a child is born in America, it becomes an automatic citizen.
5. Because it is too difficult to get in legally - the US government makes it too darned difficult to work legally. Too much bureaucratic red tape for legal immigrants makes it attractive for foreigners to get in illegally and risk deportation.
Yes, that is the message, and we all know, it is the message, not the facts, that count. The facts are a little more complicated and, I dare say, inconvenient. The illegals never had the opportunity to come legally. The laws are set up so that poor people don't get visas period unless they have a close family member who has citizenship or permanent residence. Not that we should let every poor person come, but your illegal immigrants mostly come from that stock of poor people whose visas are automatically denied. Yes, they are law breakers and should be deported, but to compare them to the people who had the opportunity to come legally is an inaccurate comparison.

Yes, the U.S. is suggesting that bad behavior be rewarded. As much as I'd like to see them round all the illegals up and deport them, we can't even find the F.B.I.'s most wanted. How would we ever accomplish this? The only way I can see is to make harboring or employing an illegal punishable to the extent that no one dare do it. Maybe then they would go back to...wherever they came from ...Pakistan ...Australia ...Lithuania.
