I can't really think of a reason why you should thank anyone who does anything illegal.
But the jobs they do most American's will not. A plasterer should not be earning $60,000 a year. It is a job that requires very little skill. Somewhere around $10-12/hour is more like it, which is a very repectable wage today.

The real criminals here are the employers that knowingly hire illegals at a cheaper rate and keep all wages lower by doing so. Illegal aliens are not coming in droves because of the weather. They are lured here by employers.

i remember when i used to work for jack in the box 10 years ago in arizona..i worked the opening shift 5am-12 and i was the ONLY legal worker there and the ONLY one that spoke ANY ENGLISH..around that same time my husband was a manager at taco bell abd they had 7 workers with the exact same ss number and when he brought it to the head guys attention he already knew about it...

You are absolutely correct! The wages are so low that any American can't survive on yet can't get assistance from the government. They don't do the jobs Americans won't do they do the jobs Americans can't afford to do. They work the low paying jobs, live 20 to a house, and collect government assistance. We sure as hell can't get by with that.
Here's another question for you. I had to call ODJFS for unemployment benefits, the 1st thing I heard was "Press 1 for English". How in the h*** do you get unemployment benefits if you can't speak English or any government benefits for that matter!? Can someone answer that one for me?

You will never hear me tell you or anyone else to thank an illegal for anything except for maybe spreading tuberculosis,polio or one of those other diseases we in America vaccinate against whereas 3rd world countries do not vaccinate and therefore harbor viruses that are extinct in our country.

If your talking about mexican immigrants, you should be thankful, in the first place they work in farms and thats why wee nice ripe tomatoes in our grocery stores, would you like to plant tomotoes under the hot sun and pick them NO right well u see they do this and only get paid the minumun when ur in ur office with the AC on. Not only do they work in farms in countless jobs. OKAY now with the kids that were born here from mexican parents. your right. i work the 3rd shift, and today being friday i went over to my church to see if they needed help handing out stuff like furniture, beds and other house hold stuff to people in need. there was 4 white couples who came in and 30 mexicans. do you know they will fill out separate papers to get more? there are other people out there that might need something. by the way, watch out for bio p, i answered a question of his yesterday and he reported me for saying fruit cake much? he is constantly making racial remarks against Americans.

You should thank them for accepting the fact the United States is the best place in the world but that is where it ends. In spite of KoolHELPER’s comments (hidden) we do not need illegal aliens in the United States. KoolHELPER is correct; not all Hispanics in the U.S. are illegal and I do not think anyone believes they are. Not all illegals in the United States are Hispanic either; and that could include a lot of criminals and terrorists! We have been generous in developing laws and programs to allow legal migration and temporary workers into the United States. Those who are here under those programs we should thank as they would thank us for the opportunity. For those who are here illegally they need to be arrested and deported (as our unenforced laws require)! As for babies born to illegals or those on temporary work programs here they should not be considered U.S. Citizens (are babies born to women serving prison terms automatically considered felons?). It is well known and accepted (by all but big business and those politicians supported by big business) that although the illegals work at far less wages (and many get ripped off by the employer) they cost the U.S. far more than they benefit us. They cost our educational system, they cost our medical system, they cost our utilities and landlords, and they use up our scarce resources (an estimated 5 million + gallons of gas a day). The United States should put in place another tax level and for U.S. citizens who work at those jobs thought to be “only fit for illegals” the government should provide free medical insurance, education, housing allowance, and the things most of us have to pay for. If we are going to allow illegals to enter the United States and get these things then we should develop a program for our own citizens giving them equal opportunities that some senators and congressmen would give the illegals. We have enough unemployed citizens we should be making accommodations for them, not illegals. And do not think the employment rate reported by our government is accurate; it does not take into consideration a great number of people who are looking for work but not working and not drawing benefits; the number is probably twice as high as reported. In my state most counties unemployment rate is over 10% but only four counties are represented in the unemployment statistics (4.6%) reported.
