As far as I can recall, we only allow so many immigrants legally into our County. The invasion is caused by ILLEGAL immigrants committing criminal acts by sneaking into our country. Yes, it is an invasion of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS that must be stopped.

i'm not sure it's so onesided... mexico has also been able to get away with a regressive tax system that has generated a fairly healthy aristocracy. it seems that there are failures all around, although i agree with what you're saying. we aren't being invaded, we are standing in a stream we are also pissing in, then wondering why it's warm.

If millions of drunken rednecks settled illegally in mexico and:
-wanted english spoken in another country
-stole mexican identities to get jobs
-break the law
-make up a large section of prisoners in the penal system

I find it ironic that American manufacturing firms are sending American jobs to Mexico - and at the same time, the Mexicans are sneaking into America for jobs......go figure.
It should be obvious to anyone that America can't employ the whole damn country and still maintain a viable economy.
Mexico needs to leap into the 21st century and build their own economic infrastructure. Presently, their largest cash cow is the monies being sent back from America by Mexican workers in this country - when your economy is based solely on imported funds with no exports - someone somewhere is getting screwed!

Why should we be happy about people blatantly breaking the law, taking (demanding) services that WE have to pay for, not paying taxes, they STEAL jobs, they STEAL identities, they jump ahead of citizens for student aid and low income mortgages, they are causing a problem in the schools when teachers have to take extra time teaching the non-English speaking kids, hospitals close because they don't have enough money to stay open due to taking care of illegals who don't pay, SHALL I GO ON?
We don't need these criminals. They should be deported, along with their anchor baby kids. The 14th amendment must be changed to eliminate the anchor baby issue. Employers should be jailed, thus drying up the jobs that they shouldn't have.

Yes, Latin America has a huge disparity in the difference between the different classes in their societies. Some would say we are actually stimulating an economy by providing even the lowest wage jobs. We live in a global economy where often the lowest bid gets the work.
There is a difference between invading a county to prevent a world atrocity and invading for world conquest.

If people "feel" a certain way they have that right whether misinformed or not. It comes with being in a free country. Does the US assert its rights in third world countries, you bet! Does that justify illegal immigration? No! However a good case could be made that it makes a case for the immigration quota numbers be adjusted so that people don't have to break a law to get into this country. There are some very relevant facts regarding the mentality of immigrants who knowingly break the law to get here. They know they are breaking the law and a lot of them find life here is not one big bowl of cherries and resort to crime to make their way. If you break one law, then what's another like driving without a license or no insurance, or drunk driving or a number of other laws we have here that set these people up on a path for failure.

You could take your own advice and take the facts without insulting. And most Americans arent living a ultra high standard of life,in fact some illegals are better off than Americans at least they recieve free medical ect. Id say over 20 million illegals is an invasion, especially when 300,000 of them have been incarcerated ,some several times.
Logically, an American citizen should be able to sue the Mexican government for loss of wages due to their lack of respect for our laws. Or a group of ex-employees who have been displaced by illegal immigrants ought to be able to initiate a class action suite against their ex-employer for loss of wages as well as racial discrimination.
