I don't believe they are working for $3 an hour. Did you ever hear about that construction company out in Colorado that was having a hard time recruiting people to dig trenchs for new development. I think the lowest paid job there was $14 -$15 an hour. The company tried to hire only legal people, but they just couldn't get them. With some using forged documents, they never knew for sure if they had illegals or not (which they did sometimes).
I don't support any business that hires illegal people.

The American companies who hire illegals do not complain about the open borders. They are probably the ones who donate a large sum of money to our elected officials to make sure the illegals stay in our country.
Yes, it's illegal to hire illegals. But right now, our current immigration laws are not being enforced. These companies can get away with hiring illegals because our govt is allowing that to occur. Plus, these business owners save a lot of money hiring illegals. First off, as you mentioned, the illegals only get paid $3/hour under the table. That means business owners do not have to pay taxes or any type of health care benefit for them. We, the American taxpayers, end up with their bill including education, health care, food (WIC, free school breakfast and lunches), housing, etc.
Why aren't our elected officials watching over us, the American citizens? Why are they putting illegal aliens (AKA criminals or law breakers) before us? They are so disconnected with America, it's unbelievable.
Because then the american taxpayer has to pick up the illegals welfare, their AFDC, their healthcare and their incarceration costs. As well as being put out of work
