You'd probably class me as crackpot liberal left, but then you'd probably label anyone to the left of Hitler like that.
But I'm also an ethnic white Briton. How can I be scared of myself? I don't want to gag anyone, but I do want to tell people when I find their views objectionable, like yours.
I don't want to re-write our long and proud history. But I don't like your version of it which only puts in the bits that appeal to your ideology.
I like living in the UK and I'm very proud to do so. I love this country's history, I believe that my country has contributed good to the world out of all proportion to its size, and I can see some of the mistakes we have made. But that doesn't make me unpatriotic. My love for my country is not blind, like yours Jim - mine is a reasoned love, not some blinkered ideology.
And yes, one of the things I love about this country is our acceptance of outsiders and their ways. We have become great by assimilation of new ideas, not by ignoring things we don't understand and hoping they'll go away.

at the risk of getting thumbs down, you do have a point. the continous liberalisation of this and other countries, (usa) has seen a rise in deviant behaviour in society. they try and gag us as they know that as a nation including the usa, we are very strong. and they dont like that. it doesnt fit in to their world "vision". multiculturism isnt such a bad thing tho. there is never anything wrong in learning about a different culture. but that should work both ways.

As a nutty liberal I have to say that it is a small world! We are multi-cultural as are a lot of other places. Why do you think this country should be all white? I think that's what you're saying but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. As for our very long and proud history, I'm not particularly proud of a lot of things this country has done in the past ie slavery, forcing christianity down the throats of other countries etc. etc.
Everyone should have rights whether in this country or abroad, you have to the right to your opinion and we have the right to ours. No-one has stopped you posting your question on here so how are you being gagged?
