How can I become a US citizen?

I live in the UK and have always wanted to live in the States. How can I become a US citizen? I've heard it's not easy!

Answer:
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis...

This is the site for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service.

It should answer any question you have. Watch out about going to any .com site... where they are trying to make a buck on selling forms that you can get free from USCIS.

Good luck on becoming a Citizen. (thank you for doing it legally!)

Through Naturalization. This website should help.
Get yourself to Mexico. Buy a pair of running shoes. If you can avoid the border patrol, presto- you're a citizen!

As a result, you'll have access to taxpayer funded health care, taxpayer funded food stamps, taxpayer funded housing, and taxpayer funded legal assistance
Its not easy.. My husband is from the UK.. and We've been going though paperwork for about 11months and we got married and now starting more paperwork to keep him here! Good Luck on this one!
Go to the uscis website. You basically have two options: marry a US citizen, or get a US employer to sponsor your work visa.
enter illegally then pray for the Amnesty bill to be passed!
Enter the country illegally, and you shall be granted amnesty in a few years.(hal-le-lu-jah you are a US citizen)
