Is it legal to put on advertising that you are offering services from a "British" qualified tradesman
Im not saying I would descriminate against the race of a future employee. But every person I would employ would have to be a British passport holder. The colour of their skin is irrelevent. Just wanted to clarify that.
Answer:
It is perfectly legal to advertise that you are a British tradesman.
It would be illegal to discriminate against your employees on the grounds of their nationality within the EU. You could / should refuse to employ any non-EU citizen without a work permit.
I dont think its racist, go for it you will probably get more jobs!
yes it is legal to but it on your advertising you are not being rascist you are just saying that your work is up to british standed
put it on and be proud to say your british
I can't see a problem with that and i totally agree with what your saying.
It's fine and it's been done before! As long as it doesn't come off as being racist, I think a lot of people would appreciate your stance. In fact, one of the big banks (I forgot their name) is currently advertising the fact that your calls will be answered in the UK (as opposed to India)!
Since Britain is more like any other blob of the European Union and part of USA, you should emphasis more on your knowledge of local bye laws and close connection to Elvis Pressely.
cant see anything wrong with it but you never know in todays PC caffeine free low fat culture
