If its about the immigration law then why dont we vote on it,LETS VOTE?
Answer:
If it was a legitimate vote of all of the American people, I guarantee you, the no more illegals will win, hands down. so let's vote, I have my ID out and I'm ready to go now.
No because the illegal supporters would scream were all rascists.
No, I wouldn't give up and go away even if the majority was for the illegals.
Wow. Sounds like you are having a bad day. Just step away from the computer. It will be okay. Take a walk, that always helps.
The majority is not always right nor fair but certainly it can be fickle.
true "majority rule" would lead to anarchy.
No, I was leaving but I changed my mind. I'm just not going to let the supporters, the previous hate mail, and the few here that are thumbs down happy when you disagree with them, get to me...I see they must've been here already coz' everyone is down! =)
I would if my side was voted down because that is how democracy works. I would have to hunt a new country if it happened that way because it would mean that the principles that this country was founded on no longer was the guiding principles.
do you even watch the news at all and get updated on any of this? it is NOT possible to gather all the illegals up and deport them, its impossible to get them ALL.
And they help out so many TOP business's in this country, a lot wouldn't do so good without them, probably shut down.
whether u like it or not, but illegals are a big help to this country and they contribute a lot to it. So get over urself and just deal with it!
It would be nice since it would be an end to the illegal problem.
Every time we vote for no more services to illegals we win - some of the votes are later argued by groups like the ACLU as being unconstitutional, but they are still a victory.
We need to keep reminding our friends, neighbors and fellow citizens how our elected officials voted on this issue come election time. Vote out all open borders idiots!!!!!
That's nothow our Federal government works. We did in California though. THe COurt through it out. THe Republican govenor appealed, but when THe Domicrats got hold of the Govenor seat, he just dropped it.
The government wouldn't contemplate a public vote on the issue, because they know the outcome. They would have to massively deport and close the borders after the vote was taken. I want a vote, but it will never be placed on the ballot nationally, which is very unfortunate.
The government (Senate) estimates cost of deportation would be approximately $200 billion dollars. It can be done, and I'm willing to help pay for it.
I doubt that the Washington weasels would ever allow us to vote on this.
They want to have the power and they feel that we are stupid and ignorant. THEY ARE WRONG!
Yes the Treaty of Velasco was signed by Santa Anna in 1836 this treaty arose of American settlers in Mexican territory staging a revolt against the government of the land on which lived. Then proclaimed themselves the Republic of Texas, legalized slavery and expelled the local garrison. The treaty was signed under duress while Santa Anna was a prisoner. Mexico later repudiated the treaty but chose not to force the issue. The U.S. government pretty much encouraged their venture and the only obstruction to them becoming annexed by the U.S. was over the issue of slavery. Lets try reading a little more about history in it's entirety rather than just goggling answers that satisfy your points.
