How to immigrate in canada?

I was previously planning to apply for quebec selection scheme, but to be honest i would rather be in an english speaking region. I could not understand how to go about applying for the English part of Canada.
I have all the documents ready i just don't know how to start.
I am really interested in cities such as Alberta and British Columbia...

Answer:
how are you wanting to immigrate to canada, student?work? applying in quebec is just a perk, applying to the rest of Canada is the same. Where do you want to live? Are you able to support yourself while you are here? Do you have relatives that can sponsor you? Do you have a job here? Have you looked into a job? If you have a job offer you can apply for a work visa at the border you enter. Are you planning to go to school here? you can apply for a student visa when you get to the border. provide you can prove your enrollment. do you qualify for a provincial nominee program? Saskatchewan has one, I don't know if Alberta or BC has one. Alot of stuff to look at, it isn't cheap in either province and the paper work to fill out isn't cheap either. $1100 to get your permanent resident papers, $150 if you want a work visa, medical exam, photos, documents from previous places you lived (if more than one country) Do your homework on lawyers, I was told at the border not to get one because they would soak you for alot of $$$$$$. My husband is from the US and we did the paperwork ourselves.

all I can say is research research research before you make the plunge. Processing time varies as well depending on where you get it done and what kind of paper work you are doing. you are required to maintain a residence in canada for a minimum of 3 years before being eligible for writing the citizenship exam. regarding health care, check with the province you are wanting to go. if you do not have status in canada you can not apply for a health card, so by travel insurance. at least a year...
DRESS LIKE A GOOSE AND WALK IN WITH THE SPRING MIGRATION.
First you have to get your permanent residency. This takes a while depending on how you do it.(ie being married to a Canadian or whichever way) then spend 3 out of 5 years after you are a PR then apply for citizenship if you want it. Your question is vague as you have not stated where you are from, why you want to, what is your current status as far as Canada goes, if you intend to apply from inside or outside ofCanada.
There are immigration Lawyers that can help you get it figured out. It's really confusing. I did it (immigrated to English Canada) but I did go see a lawyer in the beginning for advice on where to start. You should too. Thats their job!
Hi my friend:
It depends on the category you choose for the immigration. There are three immigration categories: work-skilled immigration, family immigration, and business immigration. I can not explain all of them because it takes time, but you can find everything you need at www.cic.gc.ca . Also you can see my Blog http://360.yahoo.com/maszoh. I write about immigration in general
Why Canada Rosario? have you already drain all of the jobs in the USA?
