To some extent. With health care workers especially, since it's not a matter of benefit to the economy, rather than of patient safety. I could ell you horror stories of what members of my family endured at the "skilled" hands of these immigrant nurses & doctors.

I think we need to do what we can for American citizens first. If that means training Americans for these positions than that's what we should do. Why is it America always bends over backwards for immigrant workers but does nothing for its own? its more beneficial to train Americans for these positions.
