well there is no way to tell who is illegal and who is not just by sight so that is not an ideal idea
plus, breaking the law is usually not cause for the death penalty. if you get pulled over for speeding, do you deserve a bullet to the head?

Murder is evil, it is illegal, unethicial, and amoral. The path to the darkside comes from hate and fear. Yes, people are breaking the law and have been breaking the law for decades but I think the rational of shooting people just because they cross into the US w/o paper is based on the motive of fear and hate.

You may have forgotten the 8th Amendment, "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, NOR CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENTS INFLICTED." You compare illegal immigration to breaking into a house, neither is legal but neither deserves the death penalty.
No, I don't think we should shoot them unless they are shooting at us. Deportation does not work well because we give illegals way too much incentive to come back. If we want this stopped we need to first secure our boarders so no more can get in. Then we need to take away all the many benefits you receive as an illegal. Some of these many benefits include free health care, free education, free housing, free food, free clothes..and on top of that they don't even have to pay a cent of taxes. I would come back too! We as American Citizens just need to take a stand, differences aside, and do what ever we can together to get it stopped. If not then we have just let the illegals win. No more arguing about religion, or what color you are, if you are a US citizen you are a US citizen. These are OUR rights. And if you are illegal you are illegal. And you should NOT be entitled to these rights. These are just the facts and laws. Citizens also need to call, fax and write there congressmen and the President. We have to get our government to wake up and see that we want it stopped so if you flood the heck out of the phones, faxes and mail they have no choice but to notice that our country is For the People by the People. Not, For the People by the Government!!
Sorry but the punishment doesn't fit the crime. It's inhumane. Usually the only time someone gets the death penalty is if they killed someone. Those people deserve to die.We don't kill people for robbing stores, jay-walking, arson, etc.We don't kill people who cut us off in traffic. It's wrong. We are all human beings here.
