Why immigration to canada takes sooo long ?

im egyptian ..and applied to immigrate to canada 3 years ago ! till this moment i dont know wether i will be approved or not ...
can u beleive that ?
i have many plans for the future but cant start in any of them waiting for their answer .
any advice ?? im really disapointed and confused :(

it's where you're from. Egypt exports it's fair share of terrorist. if you want to enter the country legally i suggest you relax and let the process take it's course you are not the only one one line. take it easy and don't rush you're not even a citizen and yet you're already demanding stuff.
You should try to contact somebody and see what is taking so long.

This is why people do not immigrate legally. Who has time to wait 3 years?
Current wait time to US is more than 15 years. Call the immigration info line and ask what the usual wait time is
It could be your country of origin..My brother in law and his wife moved there from Mexico City, the process took about one year.But that was more than three years ago.Sorry, you may want to contact an immigration attorney, there or in Canada.Best of luck.

Trust me; if you mean "university graduates", don't even bother coming. There are FAR too many people with degrees here sitting in apartments doing nothing because they're unemployed.
