WWII Filipino Veteran in US?

Is there like special benefit program or something about WWII Veterans in the US. My grandpa just came here in the US from the Philippines 2 months ago (he's here as a tourist) and he's 89 years old and participated in WWII as general.

Do you guys know any or something??

Answer:
I don't know about any special programs but he wouldn't qualify for vet benefits as that's only for our military.
If the bill goes forward they would be given... I THINK citizenship but it might be permenant residence with right to go to citizenship in 5 years. This one I agree with. We promised them.

However, I still want to kill the bill, for other reasons.
Was he a member of the resistance or was he an actual US soldier? He would have a better chance if he had been a US soldier since he may qualify for VA benefits. I don't know for sure though.
