How do you feel about Robert Pastor stating NAU only a 9/11 crisis away?
Robert Pastor, a leading intellectual force in the move to create an EU-style North American Community, told WND he believes a new 9/11 crisis could be the catalyst to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
Pastor, a professor at American University, says that in such a case the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP – launched in 2005 by the heads of the three countries at a summit in Waco, Texas – could be developed into a continental union, complete with a new currency, the amero, that would replace the U.S. dollar just as the euro has replaced the national currencies of Europe.
In May 2005, Pastor was co-chairman the Council on Foreign Relations task force that produced a report entitled "Toward a North American Community," which he has claimed is the blueprint behind the SSP declared by President Bush, Mexico's then-President Vicente Fox, and Canada's then-Prime Minister Paul Martin.
Answer:
He wants it but that doesn't make it good. I notice the immigration bill has a 'sense of congress' to accelerate SPP, something that was not even given to Congress to discuss, and gives all sorts of immigration enforcement exceptions to people from 'contiguous countries'. I don't know if all 'NAU' provisions are being contemplated, but an integration of many areas that was never approved as a treaty by Congress is definitely in the works, already.
Canada would have to dissolve its ties with England before that could happen. I do not see it happening anyway.
If another 9/11 were to happen Canada would dissolve into the woodwork like they did in 2001 and Mexico would still send its illegals into the US. Mexico is the Turkey of Europe. They are too economically ill to make any worth while contributions to a NAU.
i hope it doesn't happen period and stuff like that is the only reason i ever give a second thought to conspiracy theories
Does that mean we will be safer but broke.
I think it is a trumped-up fear. We ought to worry about more realistic problems such as the immigration bill that will give away $2.5 trillion in social services.
its already in the works, bush sold us out long ago.anyone against it better speak up now before it gets railroaded thru.call or e-mail your congressman
This is already in the works, and the current amnesty bill is simply another step towards the NAU. We've got to get these globalists out of office and fast, or they will quickly flush our sovereignty right down the toilet.
