You should contact your sloicitor for further advice. You will probably have no problem, they will give you papers eventually. As long as you have no criminal convictions, you would be able to claim when you complete ten years of legal residence. I imagine that you have an NI number and permission to work, so your best option in my opinion is simply to keep quiet and wait for the ten years to be finished. But please confirm that what I have said is right by checking with your solicitor.
