US visa B1 Related?

I'm applying for B1 visa for the first time. 3 years back I applied for UK Student visa and that got rejected. Will that UK visa rejection impact my B1 visa stamping? Will US consulate ask anything about other countries visa rejection, if yes what I should I tell US consulate.
Pls advise.

Dear Vijay:

My name is Tina and I work for a private immigration firm in Canada.
Your applications and rejections to other countries does not matter. However if you had been rejected for a US VISA specifically before, then the chances of being rejected again are highly likely. The UK Visa rejection does not impact the decision for US Visas.

If you are in Canada, or would be willing to come to Canada for your US VISA appointment. We can help you book an appointment with the American consulate here. For further information you can contact me at 416 962 2623 or 1866 760 2623 at extension 24.

Sincerely,

Tina

You need to tell the absolute and complete truth. The UK visa refusal will only influence the US visa application if your life has not changed in the three years that passed. If you have a good job now, stronger ties to your own country, and a very good reason to visit the US on business, you will probably not be refused.
